Oleg Kudryashov

    Biography
    Born in 1932 in Moscow. From 1950-1951 he studied at Krasnopresnenskaya Art School. From 1953-1956 he served in the soviet army. From 1956-1957 he studied on the animation course at the studio “Souzmultfilm” In 1961 he was admitted to the Moscow Union of Soviet Artists In 1974 he emigrated to the United Kingdom. In 1997 he returned back to Russia. In 2000 he received the State Prize of the Russian Federation in the field of literature and art. He participated in numerous exhibitions in Russia and abroad. His work can be found in the collections of museums in the United Kingdom, the USA, Russia, Germany, Australia, Ireland, including the Pushkin Museum State Museum of Fine Arts, the State Tretyakov Gallery, Tate Britain, Victoria and Albert Museum, National Gallery of Art in Dresden, as well as in private collections. He works in the field of sculpture, graphics, painting and etching.
