The basis consists of fragments of paintings painted on canvas at various times by the artist. The fragments are interconnected on a hard surface. The artist applied gold leaf in places of seams. The additional material consists of a solid 32 mm pine which turns the panel into a tabletop. A completed pictorial artwork weighting precisely 40 kg can be both a subject of decor and a functional table. Read more
